Roy is co-founder and managing director of New Ground Capital, an impact investment firm known for pioneering institutional build-to-rent housing and impact investment funds in Aotearoa since 2014.
Over the last 30 years, Roy has started and grown businesses spanning prefabricated housing, hospitality, and investment management, and held senior roles in banking and investment locally and offshore.
Outside of business, Roy focuses much of his spare time on his family’s conservation reserve on Rakiura Stewart Island.
