Taking the Next Step: Working with the Nation's New Affordable Housing Roadmap

Summit

6-7 May 2025

Build-to-Rent Day

8 May 2025

Auckland / Tāmaki Makaurau

Welcome to the 8th Annual Affordable Housing Development & Investment Summit

One year in, while the new government is taking bold steps on housing policy, many questions remain unanswered. In the meantime, the nation’s community housing sector is becoming increasingly more innovative to provide long-term housing stability in a climate of housing unaffordability, low supply, high construction costs, and planning red tape.

Join us at this important national affordable and community housing gathering, bringing together leading experts, policymakers, developers, community housing providers, financers and advocates to address these most pressing housing challenges.

Dive deep into emerging trends like Build-to-Rent, offsite manufacturing, and inclusionary zoning, while connecting with peers and industry leaders dedicated to creating long-term, sustainable housing solutions. Whether you're a housing provider, developer, government representative, or advocate, this summit is your opportunity to learn, collaborate, and help shape the future of housing in Aotearoa.

Together, we can reimagine the path to housing equity and affordability for all New Zealanders.

Finish off the summit with a site tour to Simplicity Living’s 297 apartment Te Reiputa Development and Productivity Hub. Te Reiputa is biggest project yet - with 297 new one- and two-bedroom apartments in Mt Wellington, Auckland.
